Common issues

The extension is asking me to sign in

That is the first screen of the extension now: it works under your ResumeClerk account rather than on its own. Click the button in the panel, sign in on the page that opens, and the panel comes back connected with nothing to type. If you used the extension before September 2026 without an account, signing in also moves the resumes, jobs, and tailored versions it had saved into that account.

The extension doesn't detect the job page

ResumeClerk currently supports LinkedIn job postings only. Make sure you're on a URL that looks like linkedin.com/jobs/view/.... Other job boards are coming soon.

I've used all my tailors this week

Weekly quotas reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC, so the reset may land on Sunday evening or Monday morning depending on where you are. Tailoring has the smallest weekly allowance. Scoring and keyword analysis have a much larger one, so they are usually still available while you wait.

Downloading the PDF

Your resume is rendered to PDF on our servers and sent back to you as a download, so the document does leave your device to be built. A render takes a few seconds, and re-downloading an unchanged resume is served from cache. If the download never starts, or the layout comes out wrong, email us with a screenshot and the name of the template you used.
